Emma Watson Denies Bullying Rumours But Won't Return Brown University

Harry Potter Star Emma Watson
Emma Watson won't be returning to Brown University, her rep confirmed. The "Harry Potter" star, who announced earlier this year that she temporarily left the Ivy League school to concentrate on her professional commitments, will be transferring to another school, but not because of the bullying rumors.

Last week, it was reported that the brainy Brit beauty was being taunted at the university. Apparently, her colleagues couldn't help but make references to "Harry Potter" whenever she got correct answers in class.

But her rep, Vanessa Davies, told the Daily Mail that the report was false, adding that Watson, 21, made some very good friends during her stay in the university. However, Davies also confirmed another rumor that she is leaving Brown.

The rep explained that Watson simply decided to pursue a course that is not offered at Brown. She was taking European women's history and drama. It isn't revealed what course she intends to take next and where she plans to enroll at.

Watson is currently working on a number of fashion projects. She will also be promoting the part two of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" this July.
